About Kyra

Kyra Wendelken, of Long Island NY, Started her classical ballet training at age of three years old with her mother Jacqueline Jaramillo at the Seiskaya ballet school. After that she received a full scholarship to the Orlando Ballet School and trained with Peter Stark for seven years. She then studied at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet for one year under the direction of Marcia Del Weary and Leslie Hench. After that she train at the Eglevsky Ballet under the direction of Laszlo Berdo. Kyra then was offered a position with The Washington Ballet for two years under the direction of Septime Webre, she then preformed in the Corp de ballet of The Nutcracker, Swanlake, Coppelia and she performed as a soloist in Sleeping beauty. she also was given the chance to perform works and pieces by Septime Webre which were the lead of Carmen, Corp de ballet of Alice In Wonderland and the Corp de ballet of Sleepy Hallow, she had also had the opportunity to perform at the world renowned Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Kyra honorable chosen to perform for the Make A Wish foundation. She has always had mandatory Pilates classes in her training she now finally has made the decision to become a Pilates instructor.
